What a great first day! Thank you all so much for your trust, passion and dedication to participate in this project! 

The first update is primarily from Alan to handle some necessary information we want to give you and make sure some of the key pieces of the equation are 100% clear. 

Alan says: 

Hey faithful Powder Mage backers! Alan from Gallant Knight Games here. I wanted to go over a few things and address a few questions that came up. 

• Remember: As we stated on the campaign page, Powder Mage requires you to have the core Savage Worlds rulebook (available here). It only costs $10 USD to get the Print and PDF and it’s necessary to play this game. 
• Since we’re using an established ruleset there’s lots of resources out there already! We’ll post actual plays of Powder Mage later, but in the meantime, there are tons of Savage World fans who are participating here and would be happy to answer questions! Here is a free sample adventure (from the company that created and produces Savage Worlds) to get a feel for what’s going on with the rules. Obviously we’re making some changes to these rules to fit Powder Mage, but the base resolution mechanics remain unchanged and you can get a feel for how Savage Worlds plays.
• We’re going to be adding more “Grand Powder Mage” levels with Hardcovers. We underestimated the demand for those. We want to add them at a time that gives international backer a chance to get in, so it’ll be tomorrow night! Additionally, we’ll be adding a limited (50) number of Hardcover+PDF only pledge levels to help those who just want the hardcover!
• Remember, shipping is being managed in Backerkit after the project closes! 
• We are working to add actual play videos to the Kickstarter sooner rather than later. 

Throughout the Kickstarter, you can expect updates from both myself and Brian. 

As a reminder, Brian and myself will be conducting an AMA on reddit’s r/fantasy subreddit tomorrow about the RPG! 

On the 20th, Brian and I will be on Victory Condition Gaming’s twitch channel talking about the game, and they will also be hosting a live play later in the campaign.

Hey everyone! You guys are fantastic. The progress so far has been way beyond my expectations and we're still on the first 24 hours! I'm really excited about this project. 

 As Alan mentioned, we did not expect to blow through those hardcovers so quickly and will be adding more tomorrow.

Holy crap guys! We've funded the Powder Mage RPG in less than three days. How awesome is that? I can't thank you enough for being such fantastic fans. Thank you so much for all the support.
